People come in feeling overwhelmed:

What to Expect

Four things we often hear from new clients are:
  1. "I feel overwhelmed. How do I get started?"
  2. "I don't know where to turn to find a financial professional that I can trust to understand me."
  3. "I don't need to get started until I'm older."
  4. "I'm too old to get started."

To this we say, "Come on in!  People are put at ease almost immediately when they come in to meet us for the first time. By the end of the meeting they feel relieved they have found someone who listens to what is important to them, and they come away with options for getting started on their personal plan.

The key is to get started and not put it off any longer.

And leave feeling happy:

What Are Your Dreams?

List for financial dreams
Our clients have discovered that financial planning really isn't about money, math or shame - it's about setting achievable actions, following-through with those actions, and realizing your dreams.

Getting started is easy. Like every journey it starts with the first step. In this case, knowing what your dreams are. If you don't know, think about what you would like to accomplish this year, 5 years from now, 10 years from now, and further into the future. No two people have the same goals and dreams, so we need to know what yours are so that we can develop a unique plan specifically for you, and a path to reaching them. Examples may be:

• Go on a 2-week trip every year
• Buy a new vehicle in 5 years
• Buy a second home in Hawaii in 15 years
• Retire and move to Hawaii at age 65

How much money do you need to save on a monthly basis to accomplish these actions?
We'll show you how!

Initial Meeting

Our first meeting with you is mainly to get to know one another. It is important for you to feel comfortable with us and confident in our relationship. We encourage you to bring as much information as possible so that we can get a clear understanding of your current situation. Examples of items you can bring are:

  • a list of your assets and liabilities (so we can get an idea of your current net worth)
  • investment statements
  • tax returns
  • insurance coverage statements

Call us at 250-260-1104 to get started. Below is a link to a short document that contains questions that help us learn more so we can help you faster. Filling it out also often helps our clients gain a better understanding of what they want before meeting with us, but if you prefer to sit down to get to know us first that's good too.  Everyone is different, and that's what we love about our clients!

Basic Questionnaire
The feedback I got from my son was "thank you so much for pushing me to make an appointment. I now see potential I wasn't aware of and am glad to have someone to help me.  Janet is great....I really, really liked her. She spoke in a way I could understand". Thanks for being so 'real' Janet. Not always an easy ingredient to find.
